"Danaequa"
This young lady is an art student of mine. Her name is Danaequa. Quite an original contemporary African American name, I thought. She is a very respectful, responsible, bright, and sweet young lady. Her personality is why I chose her to model. The warmth of her skin tone adds a warmth and emotion to the portrait. If I ever have another student named Danaequa, I'm sure I'll compare them to her.
